I'm James Kulu, a Senior Python Engineer with over four years of experience building production-grade software across Nepal and international teams. I currently work at Varicon, where I engineer scalable REST APIs and microservices with Django and FastAPI, manage cloud deployments, and deliver AI-powered features built on RAG and Agentic AI.
Before Varicon, I worked at Outcode Software LLC in the USA on platforms like StackUp, Hello Sugar, and EventFlo, and at InfoDevelopers in Nepal, where I built a loan management application used by Agricultural Bank Ltd. That mix of finance, e-commerce, edtech, and cloud products taught me to move fast without breaking things.
I care about clean architecture, well-tested code, and products people actually enjoy using. When I'm not shipping software, I'm making music on YouTube, exploring new AI tooling, or writing tools like a protein calculator and an online compass under my web tools collection.
